Hussain Almahr
Hussain Almahr is pursuing an MA in Communication Studies at McGill University (supervisor Darin Barney). Hussain completed a BA in Honours Anthropology at Concordia University (2020), focused on areas of politics of work culture, oil financialization, and pedagogy and historical archives. Currently, his MA research focuses on the political economy of oil and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, looking at how modernity is narrativized in the oil archive.
